It has the details of what is best for postnatal mum; the Do's and Don'ts during the confinement month. The recipes are also simple and easy to prepare. I love the Star Recipe; Pig trotter with black vinegar and ginger which is simply delicious. I strongly recommend this book for good health........

Nutritional Guide for mothers after childbirth By James Spino This is a very good book as it contains wisdom of chinese ancients scholars and traditional midwives on the nutritional needs for recuperating mothers after childbirth. Such valuable ancient secret recipes will be lost forever if not for the authors's effort in producing this guide, especially in English. Plus the authority of Amy, who had tried and tested every recipe featured in this book. This is definitely a hands-on book for anyone interested in knowing how food can be act as medicine to meet dietary and nutritional needs for a new mom.
