By Kim Jackson This was a book that you would not be able to put sown because you want to know what happened next. It's short and very detailed, but the author let's us know everything from beginning to end. The killing of innocent people is what makes me so angry. A child who deserved to live and done nothing wrong just breaks my heart. Andrew was a great guy just looking to work and make a career out of his job. He didn't deserve to be taken away like that. This book grabbed my attention and I am sure it will grab your attention. Get your copy today and I promise you won't be disappointed. Great book hands down
13 of 16 people found the following review helpful. Another great book in the Crimes Canada Series By Darlene Horn Another great book in the Crimes Canada Series. Very well written about such a sad case. All the signs were there that this lady had serious problems and needed help. Reading this book shows that if you are having problems with someone get help do not ignore and hope it goes away. Sadly this story ends bad and so many life's were affected :(
9 of 12 people found the following review helpful. Anyone interested in this case should watch "Dear Zachary" and read _Dance With the Devil_ instead. By A reader This is a brief and wholly unoriginal retelling of the case that offers no new insights and reads like a high school student's mediocre history paper. The author conducted no interviews of her own, didn't even quote source material, but simply summarized it, with some inconsistencies and inaccuracies. All of her sources are readily available to anyone with relatively basic Internet search skills, such as Kurt Kuenne's documentary "Dear Zachary," David Bagby's book, _Dance With the Devil_, the official Turner Report, some news articles, online encyclopedias and Wikipedia, the last of which, of course, can be written by anyone, whether he or she has knowledge of the topic or not. There are numerous basic grammatical and punctuation errors, and the endnotes consist solely of numbered lists of URLs, not conforming to any accepted international citation format used by educators, students, or professional authors and editors. The included photos of Turner and the Bagby family are ones already on the Internet, with no photo credits given to whomever are the original photographers or owners. Even considering is a true crime story meant for the mass market and not academia, it's a very amateurish product that is worth neither time nor money.Like many, I have long found this case compelling, as well as admired Kurt Kuenne's documentary and David Bagby's memoir, which, as first-person primary source accounts from Andrew Bagby's close friend of many years and his father, are considerably more detailed and emotionally powerful. I was hoping for additional information and insights from the perspective of an outside third party. Unfortunately, Ms.Banaski's publication does not do anyone involved justice as a real life event, as a story, or as a piece of writing.
