By B Conklin Tomb Brothers is part magical realism, part sci-fi/fantasy spoof, as four Egyptian gods “shimmer” out of their story and into the fictional world of our heroes, life partners nicknamed Stinky and Eddie. Their goal? To infiltrate a gay Halloween party to pick up straight women. There are plenty of laughs, verbal and slapstick. What else would you expect from four horny gods on the prowl, who sleep in urns, run a noninvasive stomach reduction clinic, and three of whom have animal heads mistaken for masks by their “prey”? Crisp, snappy dialogue moves things right along.
