Eager to achieve the level of complete relaxation By Katarína King Enrolling in a yoga class is so expensive that I decided to try doing some meditation exercises at home. However, proper meditation cannot be achieved without the help of a guide. So I got this book. It taught me the right visualization techniques, as well as practicing breath meditation. It also has some tips on organizing an at-home retreat, which is something I totally need to do when I take a personal day at work. I am eager to achieve the level of complete relaxation.

By Peter Bale I’ve always found it hard for me to concentrate for a long time on something… This book helped my overcome the inevitable distractions. The key of success here is the focus and concentration… And when I finally was able to relax and put all negative thoughts behind a barrier I found the inner peace.To be honest wasn’t expecting much from a short book on that topic, but truly it helped me. It goes through all the basic things you need to know and will definitely help you in your meditation practice.

Anderson does a clear and thorough job of explaining the benefits of meditation, and walking a new practitioner through it. I thought it would be a lot more difficult to do, but by following her instructions exactly, using the postures and mental images she provides, I am starting to realize the benefits, from more restful sleep to a more energetic day. The book is really well written, it is like a calming voice in my head.
