About the Author Tom Leddy is a seven time Marathoner and a 48 time Half Marathoner. He completed his first marathon and half marathon in 2006. Since then, he has run marathons or half marathons in 36 US States and 3 Countries and also on 2 Continents. He lives in the South Suburbs of Chicago.

Tom the Runner By Dr. Evan Fiedler I can confidently share Southern Fried Running is an interesting blend of stories and useful information for runners of all abilities. You get to know Tom the runner and the human being. And you get a plethora of race details that include (but are not limited to) the perks such as unique bling characteristics and course highlights, and where to go and what to do in the city/town where the race is held. You can tell he did a tremendous amount of research to put this book together. You will also find tidbits about changes in the future at certain venues. This information is all intertwined with his quest to complete a half marathon in every state.
