About the Author THE AUTHOR, CHRIS SAADE Born into a Christian family in Lebanon, Chris Saade experienced firsthand the devastation of the Lebanese war, where he was involved in peace work for over a decade. His peace-building involvement led him to develop a great respect for diversity, a passion for peace and justice, and to become the director of three non-profit organizations. He is the founder of the Institute for Life-Leadership and Coaching, and is the senior trainer for their heart-centered psychological, social and spiritual-leadership programs (www.theilc.org). Gailey Saade has always spoken to me on a level of the heart and now with his latest book, he helps me speak my heart to God. This book allows me to pray with eloquence that has always escaped me. His words are endearing and authentic. Not only does he make prayer an act of love but one of “love-in-action.” The gratitude he expresses for both the joys of life and the pain associated with truly living it, is an inspiration to me.
