19 of 19 people found the following review helpful. Just enough structure and you add your own books By Saved By Grace I bought this for my five year old. He seems to enjoy it. It is like the journals his older siblings have. He picks out four books and I read to him and he does a page or two in his journal. He is still in the prereading stage so this works out well. We have used it for about a week now. There are different pictures for your child to color and brain games to complete. I think this will work out well for us.Below are some photos of the book. 7 of 7 people found the following review helpful. He loves it! By Jennifer My four year old is typically not the workbook kind of kid. He is either running or sleeping. Since he is so active, he has trouble sitting still enough to do pages. I received this journal along with a few more. I was distracted by the journals myself after opening. After flipping through, I turned around to see my four year old already completing the book. He was happily coloring in a page, something he never does. I think he would give it an A+! This book is a bit thinner than the books for older children, but it is still substantial. I think the length of it makes maneuvering it more manageable for my little guys smaller hands. Too much more in this one would have make it overwhelming and less interesting to a younger audience, I believe.

I've been really impressed with this journal. It keeps kids intrest and makes them feel like they are playing instead of learning! This journal gives my children the freedom to just enjoy their childhoods and explore the topics that intrest them! I will be purchasing more journals for my family in the future.
