However her thinking lives on in the books she wrote. "Plea" is one of Dr. McDougall's best books, and one least read. McDougall writes in a clear, easy to understand voice about complicated matters.It is so very important for clinicians to gain knowledge about NOT attaching pathology to every event and every experience our patients recount. In the present world of insurance companies and the need to diagnose, we must still remain in the moment and in the present with the patient and understand our patients individual differences. McDougal leads that way.
