By Kristi Smith Get ready to go on the most amazing, hysterical, and insightful adventure your child can experience! The humor is relentless that both young child and adult can appreciate when reading together. My second grade son can't read these books and so many others fast enough- all are equally so captivating that it's hard to put any book down. This author has struck an amazing chord in my son who is inspired to read more than playing video games!! This may sound like a sales pitch, but can't be farther from the truth... I am in awe of how fun these books have been to read for my son... Our collection continues growing... This was just the tip of the iceberg!!!

Got this set for them for Christmas and they are still reading them, some books for a second time. These books have all the same characters, so you get to know who is who in the class. Lots of humor and well written. This is the second set of the series, the first set is My Weird School. Going to get them that set as well. Comes wrapped in a nice box so you can keep them all together and each one is numbered so you know which ones you read if you go in order.

Some of the humor is crude and a little mean. I deal with this with my kid by having conversations about avoiding the terms "hate", "crybaby" and "dumbhead" that are found too much in the books. Funny characters and kid-friendly jokes.
