7 of 7 people found the following review helpful. Unethical Publishing Practices By Jennifer Doyle I am an author included in this wonderful anthology. Can't afford the book. Worse, publisher charges a ludicrous amount for reprints. $1000 for my essay. So no one can afford the book, and then authors can't afford to reprint their essay in other volumes. Blackwell anthologies are, apparently, where your work goes to die. That rating is for the anthology editors, who were marvelous. The essays in the book are fantastic. This book is really great. But I would never, ever recommend purchasing it at this outrageous price. And I strongly recommend NOT publishing your own work in Blackwell books if you can help it.
