This book helped me showing the right way to loose fat.This book is actually a guidebook explaining how low carb diet can benefit our health and then how to change our eating pattern. It also includes some low carb diet plans. There is also a chapter dedicated to explain the need of physical exercise besides controlled low carb diet. If implemented regularly, this book can actually lead you to fat loss.

I'd say the information on the diet is fairly basic but it will give you many food ideas so that you aren't completely lost when starting a low carb diet. 14 of 16 people found the following review helpful. This Book is "Frozen" on Steroids!! Great read! By Classical Music Lover Brilliantly and beautifully written. We get a glimpse into the minds of Anna and Hans regarding what each one was thinking as the original plot to the Frozen movie played out. Rudnick fills all the holes that the movie didn't show us. She also gives us a back story for Hans and why he came to be the tyrannical prince you see in the movie. This book is actually the Frozen movie on steroids. Rudnick lets us in on so many details that we couldn't even imagine when watching the movie!Thank you, Ms. Rudnick, for a wonderfully written book. I finished it the day I received it. That's how good it was!

The Book Version of Frozen By Kristen Burns 3 StarsI wasn't sure how to rate this and eventually settled on 3 stars because there's absolutely nothing wrong with the writing---It's clear and easy to read (middle grade-ish since, well, it's Frozen in book form, but not immature)---and the plot and characters are the same as they are in the movie, so, while I may not love everything about that, that's more a gripe with the movie than this book.My issue was that this didn't feel genuine. I know there's a lot of Hans hate, but I actually love him because yeah, he's a terrible *person*, but he's an interesting *character*. That's why I was so excited to learn his backstory and see things through his POV. And I did learn a few things that really made me empathize with him, like this, when his brothers threw bread at him during dinner:"That could have gone a lot worse, he thought. At least they had thrown bread, not glassware, this time."But this book disappointed me because it felt like Hans's backstory and the explanations for events that took place during the film were just concocted after the fact based on the most popular fan theories rather than what the creators originally intended. Of course I have no way of knowing this, but that's how it *felt*. Even the explanation for why Hans did the whole "if only there were someone out there who loved you thing" didn't make sense because, while this book had him scheming to get the throne the entire time and definitely made him out to be selfish and willing to manipulate to get the attention he so desired, his thoughts were still not cruel, he didn't actually want to hurt anyone just for the sake of hurting them, until randomly at that moment. In fact, so much about Hans's character was inconsistent and kind of all over the place, like it was being continually altered and forced to fit into a mold. Anna's character felt forced sometimes too, but at least it was more consistent.I'm someone who pretty much always accepts the canon, but I can't accept this.But as I said, it's not a badly written book, and the issues I had may not be the author's fault. A definite must-read for all older Frozen fans By FBL-ALL One of the few Frozen books not aimed specifically at children, "A Frozen Heart" is, ultimately, the story of Frozen in book form, but from a very different perspective than the movie; it delves very much into all the emotions, thoughts, and motives behind everything Anna and Hans do, including many "WYDS" (what you didn't see scenes) that develop the characters even more, seeing Hans' family and backstory in particular. It's written in very eloquent second-person form, and follows the events of the movie very well (with only minor inaccuracies). Highly recommended for adult Frozen fans!

By Albert Gonzalez With so many different forms of meditation being promoted, it was always very hard for me to know how to get started. A friend of mine recommended Vipassana meditation a while back, but it didn't really peak my interest. Until I read this book. And boy, am I glad I did. This is such a great read for anyone looking to get started with meditation but who doesn't know where to start. It turns out, Vipasssana meditation is universal, which means that it is not based on any one religious belief. In fact, it has nothing to do with religion. I love the easy to follow techniques explained in this book that anyone could start using immediately. Highly recommended!

Seriously? In truth this book is no more than a glorified e-pamphlet instructing to eat healthy (omega 3, superfruits and vegetables while also avoiding estrogen containing foods) and get off that couch and exercise. There's mention of chromium but then it's a link to the author's blog or website to get more information. I'm not sold. It's okay to read free through the Amazon Unlimited (and the author still gets paid) but I'd steer clear of buying when it's no better than searching how to burn stubborn fat on the web.

Fantastic book by the author By Mark Starr Fantastic book by the author, providing great help, knowledge and guidance to real food and distance yourself forever from those "nasty monsters" that invade the supermarket. Eli Turner does a great job guiding you in making your eating time a proper nourishment time with foods that are natural, fresh and organic.But this is not your typical Paleo Diet cookbook, you'll see what I mean. Read it and enjoy yourself the life-long benefit of saying ADIOS to junk. Trust me.

My family always made it's meals from scratch including fresh vegetables and fruits from the garden. It was of course fortunate to have a garden orientated mother who insured there was always something good coming out of the garden plot. Anyway what Eli says is that we need to resort to good food, less processed and balanced. This little book gives up some easy breakfast offerings anyone can give a go. Definitely worth a try. Keep in mind food matters and this in turn measured with exercise should be a five star value. The book is easy to read and understand. It makes no claims outside of straight forward facts on what matters in our diet. Most of us lost those values and this puts everything back on the table.

I've just tried the Coconut Pancakes from this book and they taste really good!. I think these dishes are very do-able and next on my list is the Strawberry-Buttermilk Quinoa. If you're like me keen on trying out different recipes, give it a shot!

The standard education path for nutritionists and dietitians is to complete a bachelor’s degree in dietetics, foods and nutrition, food service systems management, or other related areas. Passing a licensure exam is required in many states. To obtain certification, students must complete a one-year supervised internship and pass an exam, in addition to the bachelor’s degree. Master’s and PhD programs are also available. These are necessary for those who want to teach at the university level, or to work in advanced clinical positions. There is a variety of different work settings and duties available for nutritionists and dietitians. Many work in hospitals and other healthcare facilities alongside physicians. Others provide nutritional counseling for groups or individuals. Some go into marketing. Because there are so many different nutritional philosophies, nutritionists and dietitians can vary greatly from person to person. Working conditions for nutritionists and dietitians are generally good and so is the pay. The average annual salary of a nutritionist is $50,000, and the top earners can make more than $75,000. Those with graduate degrees can expect to earn higher salaries. Generally speaking, nutritionists and dietitians working in education and research earn the most out of all the different types of nutrition-based careers. Most nutritionists and dietitians are drawn to this field of work because they are passionate about helping people achieve optimal health. Their work is a great gift. Worse, publisher charges a ludicrous amount for reprints. $1000 for my essay. So no one can afford the book, and then authors can't afford to reprint their essay in other volumes. Blackwell anthologies are, apparently, where your work goes to die.That rating is for the anthology editors, who were marvelous. The essays in the book are fantastic. This book is really great. But I would never, ever recommend purchasing it at this outrageous price. And I strongly recommend NOT publishing your own work in Blackwell books if you can help it.

By Ruthi Kight This author has done the unimaginable: she has created a retelling of Sleepy Hollow (and not verbatim!) that is enticing and intriguing! We all love Sleepy Hollow and have seen many perspectives over the years, but this story brings so much more to the table. The fact that the main character is a female is an added bonus. She's strong, witty, and like the rest of Mrs. Rourke's characters, she's a force to be reckoned with.The story is original and kept me on the edge of my seat from page one. Literally, read page one and tell me you're not laughing like a hyena and wondering what will come next. I challenge you! By far, this is my favorite book by this author to date!If you're looking for a fun filled, action packed story that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the last page, then you've come to the right place. And even if you don't know the story of Sleepy Hollow, you'll be able to fall in love with both the legend and this story. I'll be buying this one in paperback!! Yeah, it's that amazing! Plus, that cover is the coolest thing I've seen in a hot minute. No more cookie cutter covers of two half-naked people fornicating! LOL Sorry, had to say it.Give this one a One-Click! You won't be disappointed!

This has got to be my favorite NA Paranormal book! How do I write a review for this book without telling the secrets?? Oh, I'll try!Irving, Rip and Ichabod are great friends! When they stumble into Sleepy Hollow, things become peculiar to say the least. As this story progresses, the modern day story of Ireland Crane moving to a new (albeit oddly reminiscent) town takes stage. Strange events happen, and some think they are linked to her family. This story takes what you believe in Sleepy Hollow tales from the past and turns them into a Legendary adventure. The witty humor really makes this story enjoyable even at nighttime. The one thing I want to tell this author is, "You had me at 'Hello!'" Well, really the first sentence. You have to read it to know!! WARNING: Grab a tissue because this book will make you laugh till your sides hurt and tears stream down your face! Buy & download this book, and enjoy!

By Ginny CRANE by Stacey Rourke is awesome sauce with a cherry on top. I loved it. It was the perfect book to kickstart my Fall reading and it didn't disappoint.I'm not going to go into a lot of details because I don't want to ruin any of the surprises that await you but I will say that if you are looking for an fantastic retelling that is full of twists and turns then CRANE is a must read.Ireland Crane is a great character. She's 24 and starting her new career as a guidance counselor in Sleepy Hollow. I loved her sarcastic personality. She is definitely someone that I would want to hang out with. But then again maybe just being online buds with her would be best. You will have to read the book to understand why Ireland may not have a long list of bff's to hang out with.Crane is told in multiple points of views. We get the current time period in Ireland's voice and we experience all the history in Ichabod Crane's voice. The past and the present work together to solve the mystery of the Hessian as he once again rides through the streets of Sleepy Hollow.CRANE has mystery and suspense with a side of romance and a dash of creepy. The ending is wrapped up nicely so that you don't feel like things are unresolved but you definitely know that the adventure will continue in book 2: RAVEN.This one is going on my list of favorites for this year. Have I mentioned that I loved it?P.S. I'm reading book 2 now and it is awesome!

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Great read! By Kittyrib I'm not a professional reader/rater. I just want to share how much I enjoyed this book. I can't analyze it or comment on its writing style or literary features. Instead I just want to say that in this book, as well as in her Shadow series, I found characters that made sense, made me care about them, and made me want to read more because I wanted to grieve their losses and cheer their triumphs with them. The only criticism I have is that the Saira writing could have used a better proofreader, but it was only an occasional distraction. I would happily buy more of either series.

The reveal of who Saira really is was well thought out. However more detail on the Maymuna family members pre-murder would have tied up some loose ends. Regardless, I want to know what happens next, Moira!

About the Author Jackie Madden Haugh was born in 1952 in San Francisco, to the son of Irish Catholic immigrants and the daughter of silent movie actors. With the drama gene cursing strong through her siblings' veins, Jackie sought desperately to be noticed in a home dominated by three brothers. She wrote in the privacy of her room in journals hidden under lock and key. And for the next fifty years, Jackie would continue to struggle to speak her truth when overshadowed by domineering voices, writing volume after volume. She was honest and brave and did something most of us would be afraid to do, expose our private life to friends and strangers. She reflected on her early life, her marriage, extraordinary pain of divorce and how she overcame hostility toward her ex to acceptance of a life with him present at important events. She never gave up working toward the perfect life she desired not for others but for herself. She did all this in an entertaining writing style, with clarity and empathy.

This book is good for kids to learn about the Bible, but also to start conversations about morality and how to approach everyday situations even today. The kids seemed interested in what I was reading, so it's kid-approved. Reading this book sparked the conversation about bullying and about standing up for the right thing. The kids get it, so hopefully they will hold on to the message as they grow in to adulthood. Good read.

I generally prefer real accounts of encounters or documentary books on Bigfoot, so initially, I thought that this was a true story. At the very end of the book, a notation in small print stated that this was a work of fiction. That was disappointing. It should've been noted up front that this was a work of fiction.That being said, it is a very good story, with a lot of bad language. I mention this for readers who may not care for that. The story concerns efforts to find the perpetrator of several attacks at a campground site. I won't give away theme rest, as it should be discovered. This book is an engrossing tale and very realistic and enjoyable. I give it four stars, one deducted due to the fact that it is a work of fiction and not a real account. I probably would not have read it, had I known it was fiction.

I would read stories about bigfoot as I came across them, because I find them interesting, as well as all things "not absolutely proven". This book sucked me in from the beginning. I knew it was fiction when I started reading, but constantly forgot and felt like I was right there with the reporter, looking for answers. I couldn't put it down! A thrilling, spine tingling read!
