This a great collection of recipes  and that means you really can eat the most delicious food every day and still lose weight easily. I didn't know if it was possible when I started to follow the Growing Younger Diet, but it is. Follow the recipes and the pounds start to fall off immediately. You have to experience it to believe it. The Growing Younger Diet makes great sense and the recipes show a welcome degree of creativity that adds a surprising amount of variety to daily meal planning. The problem with most diets is that you're usually restricted to a few food types that soon become boring and repetitive. ** These Diet Recipes offer a fantastic variety of choices and flavour combinations. This is a recipe list that you can use every day for life. That's one of the most appealing aspects of the Diet. I love the way Beran combines the vegan approach with paleo approach. What she teaches is definetely not a mainstream paleo (by which I understand books praising massive amounts of meat- something I am not a great fan of) and she encourages a balanced diet, inspired by paleo (no grains, no legumes, no dairy, no sugary fruit, plenty of fresh veggies, leafy greens, some fruits, nuts seeds and some lean protein). So big 5 stars from a former Paleo skeptic! The recipes are fantastic and I don't think I will ever get bored with them. They also gave me inspiration to personalize them and create my own by swapping some ingredients (I am more on a vegan side of the fence). I also loved her motivational tips. Having a clearly defined health and wellness vision is a real game changer.

By Jim Flannigan I had to buy this as soon as I saw that it came out. Parry provides an easy to understand, and expert take on the Paleo lifestyle. I am well informed on this topic, I am an educator, and I research everything thoroughly. So, when I come across an author that surpasses my knowledge by miles, I buy everything they write.Some tips:Read the Table of Contents carefully. It will provide an excellent idea of the overall concepts that will be covered. Which will help people who are new to Paleo. But, even more importantly, it will guide you towards the recipe section, which is fantastic. 250 recipes!Also, check out Chapter 3. I had no idea about the benefits of hard cheeses.

The book has a wonderful list of recipe that are categorized by meal type and also includes some helpful hints about Paleo in general as well as gluten free lifestyle. I have been using this book for a few weeks now and have made a number of meals using the recipe in this book. Each one tasted great and they made me feel healthier in the process. So much worth recommending book!
