If you fly a lot, you know how stiff your body can get, especially after a long flight. This book offers a lot of helpful tips for stretching and keeping your body "right" during flights of any length. I practice yoga often, and I found the poses in this book to be perfect for small spaces ... lots of creative suggestions. This is definitely a good book to have on your Kindle or whatever tablet you use when flying.

When I have limited time I just pick my favorites. It’s neat to notice how your different body parts feel after each exercise. You can feel the blood and oxygen circulating. I got this book for travel but I use these exercises a lot in the office when I need a good refresher.The design, order and layout of the book are very clean, simple and professionally done. This makes the book easy to follow and nice to look at. For example each exercise is on a page to itself. Some images have tasteful directional arrows added in for clarity and if there are multiple photos to a stretch they are numbered. Once you’re familiar with the directions you can use the pictures as cliffs notes instead of reading every time.I think this book is much more practical than other “airplane” or travel yoga books in that it actually takes into account the small amount of space you’ll have and the need to be courteous to the people who are sitting next to you.I really like that this book uses pictures of an actual person as opposed to illustrations. The design and organization of the book are clean and professionally done which make it nice to look at and easy to follow. I also appreciate the explanations of what each exercise is doing because I like to know the reason I’m doing something and I think that also makes it easier to choose which exercises to do if you don’t have time for all of them.I also really appreciate the notes of being courteous to your fellow passengers.This book explains the importance of circulation and stretching. I once went on an awesome cross country train trip on Amtrak. I loved it but it would have been even better if I had had this book to keep my neck and back from getting such a crick! Next time I will have Airplane Yoga with me and I recommend it to everyone!

I love how this ebook was written literally for “everyone” By Lauren I love how this ebook was written literally for “everyone”, and addressed the entire body. I’ve been practicing yoga for over 10 years now, but this put a creative spin on how to do yoga in a unique environment. The book was written in a very sequential manner with excellent photographs, making it easy to follow along and perform yoga poses as I read the book. It was insightful in making the most of a small space when traveling via airplane. I wish I would have read this book sooner. Last year when making the long flight to Europe, both of my feet had significant swelling, and I subsequently sprained my ankle while walking the streets of Paris. I believe this could have been prevented if I would have followed the exercises mentioned in this book. As a physical therapist, I would highly recommend this book to my patients, as well as my friends and family.
