By Arlene Hewitt Thief by E l Jennings, what could I say about this book that left me wanting more..Xan is assassin, a thief and a mercenary and she a sin eater, part demon and happen to be construed by the one and only Cain and he want her back...The plot of this book is about Xan who in a mission looking for young girls who been taken by the evil clown know as Clockwork and the clock is ticking...Marshall is a Texas Ranger who daughter was also taken by Clockwork...Then there Dorian Gray, who need Xan help to retrieve his portrait..There are many interesting characters in this series, my favorite is going to be Adram a very colorful demon, that had me laughing out loud, not only with the banter between Xan and himself, but his colorful wardrobe...This book had me laughing and the next hanging by my fingers tips, is more or less non stop action...It left me with one character that need to be put down for a betrayal and another character that need to be b*tch slap and another that going to fight for his throne...I been a fan of E I Jennings from the 1st time I read her book, The Jessica Dawn series... Ms. Jennings has that kind of imagination that suck you in and don't let go... Ms. Jennings, is sharp, witted brilliant when it comes to her storytelling, love her stories...I highly recommend this amazing new series..
