By Kathysue Dorey I teach domestic and sexually assaulted survivors to creatively problem solve, become emotionally healthy, and how to protect themselves physically and non-physically in my 1-year Freedom Legacy training system. And I needed a comprehensive, user-friendly and FUN resource tool for these women when teaching literally ALL of the creative thinking skills contained within “Weaving Creativity into Every Strand of Your Curriculum.”Because these women come from varied cultural/academic backgrounds and life experiences, each learn differently. What works for one, may not work for another – and sometimes I have to change out my curriculum within minutes. This is when this book comes into PLAY. The information presented is so easy to learn and can be put into action immediately!“Weaving Creativity” truly is a gift that keeps on giving. My current Freedom Legacy women who have graduated from the program are now continuing on as Mentors for the next group of women and already have created lesson plans from the ideas and tips suggested within this book! By Michelle Korenfeld Today's students need the kind of teaching this book promotes like air. You will not believe how much more motivated to reach higher they will become, even if you try one exercise out of this treasure trove of activity ideas each day. Not only will your students' learning be more meaningful, but you as a teacher will be gratified re-finding the pleasure of teaching. Your students will wait for those teaching assignments, and you will be looked upon as a facilitator guiding them to success in the 21st century.

It also has fun activities for engaged parents. I showed this to a friend of mine who works in a challenging Buffalo City School. He suggested that this book be added to the teacher’s library.
