By Kitty Honeycutt My love for the Fae folk having grown vastly over the past few years, I decided to delve into the wonderful world of Myra Nour's "Demon Killer" after having read the synopsis. The heroine of the story, Azra, is not only strong but she's exceedingly clever. Having been attacked by a race of demons that prey upon the Fae folk of the forest, Azra finds herself impregnated after a brutal rape. It matters not that the child is half demon, Azra feels the need to protect her babe and in doing so, she takes on not only the folk of her land but outsiders as well. This story was one I'll never forget, Myra Nour succeeded in taking us into an entirely different world than many books I've read dealing with Fae beings, the story was exciting, adventurous and extremely well written. I would suggest anyone that is even remotely interested in the world of Faeries to read this novel. You will forever be changed by this amazing story!

Fluid style and a stellar dark fantasy read By Heather Rexon-Capewell It's no surprise to my reads how much I love the darker side of fantasy, demons, or the fae. Myra Nour blends all three in Demon Killer. This is a first for me and the blurb hooked me straight away. It's a quick read, but it's a complete story set in a fantasy world. The writing style is fluid, and I enjoyed the extended vocabulary often missing from self-published books. The editing was stellar too. From front to back the reader is given a clean (minus the mentioned scene in the blurb) read free of glaring errors. Also I found that mentioned scene tasteful and perfectly executed, although the warning will be helpful for anyone with triggers. If it isn't a trigger, don't let it hold you back.I look forward to reading more from Myra Nour.

This is a super short one, but doesn't lack punch!Azra is a creature of Fae, and she is attacked by a Demon, and this leads to her having a child from the attack. She loves her child but it is half demon - which causes the Fae to want to kill her child! After he is taken over by the demon part of his heritage, she does everything she can to save him, he is half her too! This is fast paced, intriguing and just really fantastic! My only complaint was that there wasn't more of it to read! Even though it is about Fae and demons, you should never underestimate a mothers love! Not recommended for younger readers.
