 Reclaim Your Energy and Achieve Vitality for Life.Since reading the book, I am taking sincere and direct steps to improve the quality of my life. Here is what inspired me the most about Ivette’s approach: my path to total health is an inward journey of self-improvement, focusing on my physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. Ivette is my guide on this path, and I keep Relaunch close by so I can follow her practical guidelines, simple tools, and ready-to-make-recipes.Relaunch is not just another health/diet book. In fact, Ivette advises readers to stay away from fad diets and begin to discover the foods that make sense for us personally. Several specific lessons have made a huge impact as I now understand the concept of clean eating along with a healthy lifestyle.Readers will enjoy the Introduction as Ivette tell her own unique story. In her own humble way, she tells us this story so we can better understand ourselves and how we can make positive-life force changes. The opening of the book is educational, and we realize how much there is to learn, and that Ivette is a master instructor.Perhaps I have spent the most time reading and re-reading Chapter 1. Here I am asked to explore my own reasons for wanting total health. The inward journey has inspired me to set realistic goals and achieve them.Chapter 2 provides a re-education into nutrition, shows us the harmful effects of packaged foods, and guides us to embrace healthy, organic foods. Best of all, we are introduced to green smoothies and invited to take a challenge. I have been drinking my smoothies every morning and now I am not sure I can live without them!For me personally, Chapter 3 delivers the most important health advice that I will ever receive: inflammation is the enemy and the cause of so many medical problems. Ivette states “Inflammation drains our body of energy because it forces our bodies to work harder in attempts to reduce the inflammation…we are further depleting our energy source. “ I feel that inflammation has been a major problem in my life, and now I have the tools to combat it.Chapter 4 thoroughly outlines the importance of staying hydrated and making water an important part of our lives. In Chapters 5 through 8, Ivette gently encourages the reader to go on a journey of self-refection to understand our own “bio-individuality.” She urges us to become self aware so we can “listen” to our bodies thoroughly and understand our personal health choices. Perhaps Chapter 9 is most essential for those of us who lead stressful lives. Through breathing exercises and meditation, we learn about the importance of serenity.Ivette reveals her wisdom in Chapter 10 by teaching us the difference between self-care and self-indulgence. The lesson is very powerful—especially for those of us in the U.S. who are accustomed to excess.Chapter 11 is provides enlightening advice on the importance of intimacy with our family and close friends. In the final Chapter, Ivette reviews the steps we need to follow to get on the right path. She reminds us to keep a journal, de-stress everyday, and make self-care choices that will have a long-term positive impact in our lives.Thanks Ivette. This book encouraged me to take a hard look ay my lifestyle choices and become aware of how I wanted to feel each day. It also exposed my own innate potential for change and empowered me to make essential lifestyle changes. Ivette's book has guided me on my journey towards showing up in the world the way I would like to each day. Relaunch Your Life Force was an easy choice because I was totally ignorant about what I ate. I thought I did a pretty good job, with making good food choices, but after reading this book I was on the wrong path.This book put me on the right path. I feel better, have more energy, less bloating, and I'm more mentally alert. I love how the book doesn’t make you feel overwhelmed and that you have to change everything all at once. It’s about baby steps! Thank you Ivette Desai, you helped me change the direction of my life. Like Ivette says in her book, “ Be kind to yourself. A whole garden is not grown in a day. We start with the seeds and focus on those that are positive. Lifestyle changes take time in the same way. Eventually the life we want is grown, as is the seed. It begins to bloom into the flower. “
