From the Back Cover

Storm has spent her whole life fighting for survival and acceptance. Now she finally feels at home in the Wild Pack, and for the first time she can remember, the world beyond their camp is at peace.

Yet within the Pack, tensions are rising. Some dogs are far from satisfied with the Pack order, and others still don't trust Storm and Arrow, the only two Fierce Dogs within their ranks. Worse, Storm fears her Packmates might be right. Troubled by dreams of fear and shadows, Storm isn't sure which is the greater threat—the darkness brewing within the Pack . . . or the darkness within herself.

Though it is definitely a lot slower and not as much action as the previous book I love how the relationship that the dogs have with each other have developed. Storm is a good POV though I have to admit I do miss Lucky's POV a little. This book leaves us with a huge cliffhanger and a tragic ending. I can't believe how long I am going to have to wait for the next book!

A book about Storm, *Contains mild spoilers* By SiberianIce There are scattered mild spoilers below, so I will just say; I am a Storm fan, and if you like Storm, or if you like suspenseful action books, I recommend. It kept the Survivors touch, but Storm-style, so expect a slightly less merciful, but still good, protagonist.I really enjoyed this book. When I first saw it listed, I was really excited that my favorite character, Storm, is the protagonist and POV character. I share a similar personality to her in some aspects, and honestly her sense of right and wrong interests me more than anybody else's.So, onto the book. Now that the Storm of Dogs is over, there is a temporary peace in the pack, although, tensions between Twitch and Sweet's pack remain. There is action in this book, as with the other Survivor books. It isn't the most fast paced, but is very suspenseful, and leaves the readers wondering what will happen. Storm gets some sleeping trouble and horrible nightmares, and still facing distrust from her pack mates whom still don't trust her, after all she has done for them, and they still distrust Arrow as well. This is where I sympathize with her. She's pretty much bullied throughout her life, and works hard trying to prove herself. Honestly, I really hope some pretty good ending happens for her, like becoming leader. She's fairly intelligent and fierce, but still the loving Storm we all love. I like the character development for Storm. She became a strong almost-adult. She dreams of being loved for once. Not obsession or anything, but being truly respected for the good-natured dog she is deep down. She's also different from all the characters for, like I said, her unique morals, her special intelligence, and also for keeping a little of her puppyish nature, which makes her more likable and interesting, at least for me. She's mature and immature. Now, as for other character's development, I am beginning to dislike Sweet. I didn't like Lucky much, forgiving Alpha, even with how evil he was, and the fierce dog pack for how much damage they have done. Lucky is almost the same, except he's too focused on his upcoming pups than the good of the pack, so he's less likable. Sweet is about the same, but a bit nastier. I get she's the Alpha, but wow. I don't fully dislike her, but the other pack mates; some are really horrid to Storm, yelling at her when all she wants to do is help. Like dang, I feel bad for her. This book is very intriguing, and holds your interest from action-packed battles and conflict, and suspense of what will happen within the pack. I do have a slight bias for my love of the book. I love Storm, and adore her point of view. However, don't expect it to be too similar to the first series, because she is obviously much different from Lucky. They are kind and intelligent, but that's as far as the similarities go, mostly. After all, Storm is the dog whom ruthlessly killed Terror and Blade, with no regrets or even sympathy for that matter. She did do the right thing in that. But anyway, it's a different change. And for the Erins, a main character that is like this is very interesting. If you didn't like Storm, I can't recommend the story all that much, but I think this is a great start to a new series. June is so far away, it's almost depressing. I'd love to see what happens next to Storm and the gang in the next novel.Overall, I do love the book. It's a great start to what looks like will be a superior series to the first. I am, however, hoping Storm's life gets much better. The cliffhanger ending was a bit sad, and I do hope she gets the respect she deserves, preferably as a leader.

Because, one it is told by Storm, two, Lucky and Sweet are gonna have pups, and three, Bella and Arrow are secret mates, and four, it's a mystery! I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because it doesn't show Lucky and Sweet's pups, nor say they had them yet! I can't wait for book two of series two to come out! I recommend it to all people who love Survivors by Erin Hunter! Why do I love the book SO much you ask? Read the book and you will find out! I loved the book and I hope you do too!
