It focuses on getting all of your nutrients from food, which is awesome! Basically that means you'll be eating a clean, whole food, paleo diet. This food can be super tasty and fun with the right recipes and this book has just that. It's also nice for the dads to read so they can help out their partners.

By Amazon Customer Great recipes, I am going grocery shopping today to fill my pantry with these healthy ingredients. I liked this book. I did have a few issues with a few ingredients being 25 weeks pregnant I came across something in print that said "baking powder & baking soda" are not healthy BUT there are substitutes for that. Also as I read "coffee" for a few desert ingredients I did not agree with at all as coffee is not recommended during pregnancy and breast feeding since it has caffeine. I think you are a fabulous author, I always get corrected when it comes to my essay papers lol. There are a few errors but I do not know if you were writing something else during the process of this book. Over all I would recommend your book to all my pregnant family & friends.Many Blessings!

By Julie Lobdell I've been eating paleo and primal for about three years now, and when my fertility kicked in I was looking for a way to bring carbs and new nutrient dense recipes to my arsenal of meals. While I don't expect much from a book that obviously didn't have a lot of investment from some fancy publisher, the recipes are sound and a switch from the intense low-carb recipes I've become used to. The only thing I'd like to see changed is the switch from "soy sauce" called for in the Asian Inspired Orange Chicken recipe to something more paleo-friendly, like coconut aminos or at least tamari- Soy sauce can have up to 60% wheat. I am most grateful for the informative introduction listing several real-food sources of vitamins and nutrients especially important to growing people.
