A post-apocalyptic trip down an Alice in Wonderland type rabbit hole brings Sunshine and her beloved companion, Bunny, to a world lost in time. They explore this new world and find that its inhabitants are reluctant to allow them to leave. Scherer's writing is engaging and he hits the perfect tone for this story. Sunshine is a wonderful heroine; she is both brave and playful. Highly recommended.

By Christine Meads This is a post apocalyptic version of Alice in Wonderland except Sunshine, the little girl doesn't follow the rabbit down the hole, she brings her stuffed rabbit with her, and finds the robot rabbit she'd been chasing down in the hole. What she finds is a dead city and robots that don't exactly realize the city is gone. You need to read what happens.It's an interesting read, very colorful and almost realistic in tone. For children who are just beginning to read science fiction stories.I got this book from Story Cartel in exchange for my honest review.
