Reed deals with the author's journey through life's ups and downs, losses, pain, grief, bumps and bruises, hope, inspiration, and unconditional love after the loss of her husband. The book speaks about the author's hope in something greater than herself, which keeps her grounded and centered after the loss. She describes how she realized that spirits communicate with us from the other side and started reading about after death communications. Linda's journey of serenity is an uplifting book for all those who have lost a loved one and found their own path of joy, happiness, peace, and calm, despite the setbacks in their lives. The book is uplifting and motivational. It teaches readers to look at life and living with a positive outlook. Linda's emotions are honest and palpable and many readers will be able to connect with her feelings and her journey. The author's experiences will also make them ponder and reflect on life, death, loss, and grief. The manner in which she presents Phil's spirit and her connection with it is tangible and vivid, and it is a book that can be enjoyed regardless of what religion you believe in. The spiritual experiences shared by the author are amazing and encourage readers to be more open to the Universe so that they can decipher the messages given to them and also enjoy the blessings of the Universe. The author also speaks about regression therapy and its healing powers which can heal the soul effectively.I am one of the very fortunate people who have gotten to know Lindy on a personal level. Although some time has lapsed since being in contact with her, I could really feel her heart, struggles, adjustments to losing someone so very dear to her. I recall we used to joke about that word - never - get married again. I was so happy Phil came in to her life. He brought so much love, joy and happiness. The two of them as a team were amazing. You can hear their fond love and admiration for one another through the writing of her book. I love that through this book she has found healing and sharing her deepest thoughts and experiences with everyone is such a blessing! We all need to keep an open mind to life's experiences and never doubt that our departed loved ones are always present with us. Those little nudges that come out of the blue are not "coincidences". I really love her closing chapter!! We're all on a journey ~ don't be afraid, seek out and find your own path. As Lindy says "Life didn't end for us, it just changed. The best is yet to come Let life begin!" We will all meet again one day - Thank you Lindy!!
About the Author Linda K. Reed is retired, yet always busy and wondering how she found the time for a career. She spends as much time as she can on or near the water and enjoys time spent with her daughters, her close friends, and her four-legged companions, Big Boy Sue and Patsy Love (aka Pooper). She is also the author of Winter of 1950, a tribute to her late husband, Phil.

By Elizabeth Sometimes you want to read the Reader's Digest heartwarming story section or maybe pick up one of those Chicken Soup for the Soul books. Something heart warming but not too much of a commitment? Pick up either of this author's books. Heart warming and introspective you will enjoy reading these memories in more a short story format really than a novel. You will love the Author's ability to paint a picture and the positive messages throughout. I highly recommend Serenity's Journey as a wonderful summer read!

Lee I can't seem to get the Serenity's Journey Book out of mind. I started reading your book the day I received it in the mail. The first two weeks passed and I was only through Chapter 6. This novel captivated me but, I did not know why. Then, I realized that you were visualizing through the universe. For me, I seen Jehovah God as the Architect of the universe. Then, it was hard for me to put down. Scientists estimate that the earth is about 4 billion years old and that the universe was born some 13 to 14 billion years ago. Yet, I know the universe and the world around it is full of energy; an active force - God's power. The Bible sets no date for the creation of the universe. We just no that God created the heavens and the earth.Another similarity, I found fascinating was your referred to regression therapy where amazing doctors heal the soul, and not treat symptoms of the physical body with medication. I refer to regression therapy as God because, of my brief, faith, daily reading of scriptures, sharing his word (Bible) and continuous mediation on his word.Your description of karma - good and bad karma to me equates to righteousness vs., unrighteousness. My righteousness is not enough in itself. I must also have love for God and mankind, forgive those who have done unrighteous acts to me and I will be given a chance for even lasting life.As you state be given another opportunity to make the bad karma good; learn in another life, under different circumstances.I truly recognize how much spirit, belief and love you have found through your life, reading/research of regression therapy, your understanding of the universe and the healing of your heart and soul. You discovered the comfort to bring ease to your life, the power to be happy and love for the universe, your family and friends. In reading your book you had to go on this journey to completely heal your heart and to say fair well to the love of your life - Phil. Please trust this friend you will see him again in the new earthly paradise.I hope you write many more books. You are such a great author with so much truth and spirit. I believe your journey of life will continue. You are such a loving, honest and trustworthy person. You will continue to be happy.
