3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Fun book with BEAUTIFUL photos!! By Jones Family I just finished reading this ebook Jungle Book for Kids: Scary Animals of the Jungle. This book is full of large beautiful photos that are very clear and crisp and easy to see. Each page has a big photo along with a spot that holds information about the animal / reptile / bug that is in the photo. When you turn the page, the next two pages are a great big photo of the animal that you covered on the previous page. There are seven total animals covered in this ebook. I gave this book a four out of five stars due to the following reasons. First, I would have really liked to see more animals covered then the seven that they did. It would have been nice that instead of the second two page photo if they would have just used that space to cover another animal. I also felt like if they were going to take up four pages for one type of animal that it would have been nice for them to include a little more information about that animal then what is included. But overall, the pictures are beautiful and it is a very nice book to look through. I would say that this book would be good for kids aged one through nine. Children to young to read will enjoy looking a the big beautiful photos and kids that are old enough to read will enjoy learning a couple bits of information about the animals. Even though I received this book for free in exchange for my opinion, this is truly my honest and unbiased opinion of the book, after reading it for myself. And a side note: I am glad that I do not have to meet the animals/bugs etc covered in this book!

My kids absolutely love science but science with animals are their favorite. This book fit both bills.I've gotten other books from this series that I've liked and this one didn't disappoint. The pictures are clear showing each animal in detail. Although I got this book for it's information on jungle animals I love it for it's pictures. The pictures show the animals up close with a lot of details. I enjoy the real life pictures over drawn ones. The pictures have more details. Each picture had my son rJungle Book for Kids: Scary Animals of The Jungle: Wildlife Books for Kids (Children's Animal Books)eaching out to touch it as if he could feel them. He enjoyed each page of animal facts and walked around the rest of the day spouting animal facts to anyone who'd listen.This book was one of several I had gotten to take with us to a soccer tournament for my oldest to keep my youngest entertained. My six year old is known for his restlessness but this book kept his attention along with other kids his age. They ooo'd and ahhh'd over the animals loving the vivid colors of the dart frog.This book was full of animals that were both familiar and new ones. I was surprised that I learned a couple of things.I prefer the versatility of the digital book over a hard copy. When I take my kids places I need several distractions as we are usually at sporting events for several hours. If one book isn't holding their attention I can quickly switch to another one. My kids also use books liek this one as a reference so it's nice to have them in one places.At the sporting event I recommended this book along with a couple others to a few moms who's kids ended up listening and participation with the reading. I received this book at a free or reduced price to provide a honest and unbiased review.

I would say this book is best for the 4-6 year old range. As with all the Baby Professor series the pictures are stunning. Adults and children alike will enjoy learning new facts. Even as an adult I enjoyed the book and wish it was longer.My only criticism is the title "Scary animals of the Jungle". Another reviewer mentioned that it should read "dangerous" instead of "scary" and I agree. We shouldn't discourage children from learning about all types of animals and which ones are dangerous.It is a great little book that is delivered in bite size pieces for young children to understand and enjoy. Each page features a fact and a pertinent picture. This would make a great starting point to learn more about these creatures, their habitat, and their life cycle. I recommend reading the Kindle version on a computer or color tablet to get the full effect of the color pictures.I received the opportunity to review many of the Baby Professor books and I highly recommend them. I love the idea of electronic books. You can download a whole bunch of different books for the kids to read. Kids will love to read them over and over again and enjoy the pictures. I love that they are learning based and not just silly little stories with no meaning.
