My kids love science and I try to read to them during the sporting events instead of them playing video games. The books in this series have wonderful pictures along with little facts that go along with them. The words are easy for readers that have been reading for a couple of years but if your child is too young for that this book is great to read to them! The book is written in plan terms that kids can understand. It’s a great way to introduce science facts to kids. Each book in this series introduced one particular aspect of science and portrays it in a way that makes kids want to learn more. I plan on recommending this series for the pre-K teacher at my sons’ school who loves to introduce the kids to science.The photos are amazing! While I read the book to my kids it was very easy to get lost in the pictures and wondering what it would be like to see them in real life. The facts were great and my kids learned a lot from it but the pictures were what make this book exceptional. I would recommend this book to anyone with kids. If you kids are too young to listen to the book being read let them look at the pictures. They are so vivid you can almost imagine yourself there!I received this book at a free or reduced price in exchange for providing an honest and unbiased review. By Tiara S I am a home school teacher of a five year old and use this book and several others from Baby Professor as part of our curriculum. This book is a short read that offers plenty of opportunity to expand on vocabulary. I assisted my five year old in reading the book, then took the words that were not yet in his vocabulary, gave him the definition, and used those words in his spelling lessons. He also enjoys attempting to read the books to his younger sisters and brother, showing them the photos, and telling them what he learned. I would recommend this book and all others from Baby Professor to any parent who plays an active role in their child's learning. I received this Kindle read at no cost too which is always a plus for a home school teacher!

By Joseph Gross This is good for introduction to a discussion about the sun and the moon, but not as a summary book. It has some facts, several, in fact, but not interwoven in any kind of story. The photography is exceptional, which is why the rating is a four. I cannot give a five because there is no beginning, middle and end sense of things. It abruptly ends without benefit of a conclusion or even "the end". I received this e-book for free to read with my family and give an honest review of my opinion of it.
