By Roberto This Chakra book has easy to understand explanation which have also simple guides on how to do the Yoga positions. It has explained the health benefits of the chakras on our different part of our bodies. As a homemaker, I do not have the budget and the time to go out and do yoga outside and with the help of this book I won't worry with those anymore. I cannot wait to start and follow these easy steps in a healthier me.

This short book explains the concept of Chakras and delves into each of the seven. I like the fact that in addition to the explanation the author also delves into which foods may affect the blockages. I will admit that previously I read one book on Chakras but the explanation did not fully satisfy my curiosity.In addition to the Seven Chakras (Root. Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Third Eye and Crown) the Yoga positions for each one are illustrated. Some are drawings while some are pictures. At my age, would definitely need the experience of an instructor...and need help getting up off the floor! Keeping an open mind, however, would enable me to do some of these positions.All in all, a most interesting introduction for me. It also includes aromatherapy, types of food and in at least one instance massage!Fascinating read for me and most highly recommended.
